New Year, New XoxoEmmy: Blog Goals & Resolutions for 2015

2015 is here! Its amazing what can happen in 365 days. We lost a lot of great individuals (Robin Williams, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joan Rivers, and those who were not famous but remain close to our hearts) as well as many advancement in our society (the first artificial ear was made in a 3D Printer!). A new year is often a time to start anew, create goals and resolutions.

A New Year can be a push to start anew. As a blogger, having blog goals & resolutions is important to start a clear direction for a blog in the coming year.

When XoxoEmmy started, I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I like a lot of things but they tent to be wide and varied. I tried to mostly focus on beauty but as my interest for other things increased, the posts on this blog started to dissipate. I want to write about various different things but I am often told that the only successful blogs out there are the ones that focus on a niche topic, be it nail polish or frugal travel.

XoxoEmmy’s Goals & Resolutions for 2015

  • More blog posts, doesn’t matter the topics. A more frequent blog is a better blog.
  • Brighter clearer pictures. This is will involve on my behalf investing in a better camera.
  • A better layout which is more organized.
  • More information about me (because the more you know about me, the more I connect with you)

that’s it! 4 goals, in no particular order, though I think I did write them out in order of importance.

I think the last goal will be the hardest. I do like to hide behind the computer.

its time to stop hiding.
