Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Savage

Product: Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Savage
Color: teal-blue shade
Finish: Matte
Coverage: About 5 days

Sinful Colors is cheaper than Opi, ands are Toluene, formaldehyde & DBP free. This bottle is my first purchase of the brand.

Savage is glossy as you apply it on your nails but quickly becomes matte. Having a perfect matte manicure can be tricky since uneven coats/streaks are more noticeable. I accidentally smudge one of the fingers and had to redo them. This nailpolish last about a week, but to make it last longer/be more glossier, add a shiny clear top coat to it. I applied no top coat because I wanted to show the nailpolish for what it is, with no alterations.

in the shade while drying (last 2 fingers are still slightly glossy as the coat hasn’t finish drying yet):

How it looks while its drying, as you can see by my last finger, mistakes are noticeable:

The good thing about this nail polish is that because it is glossy while applying, matte while dry, you have a good indication of when you’re manicure is ready to go.

UPDATE

Like a reader mentioned, this nailpolish leaves a blue stain on your nails if you do not use an basecoat! Please use a clear basecoat otherwise you will be stuck with slightly bluish stained nails.

I hope you used base coat! This color gave me the worst stains and took about 2 months for my nails to finally grow and for the stain to fade.

This also stained my nails, but I was able to buff it out after a few days- will use a base coat next time!
