All shades were applied using 2 coats.

Naked (click on image to expand)

Naked: a beautiful professional looking neutral shade that is opaque and warm and it compliments all skin skin tones.

Smog (click on image to expand)

Smog: Metallic and shiny, it is a bold copper with gold tones.

Sidecar (Click to Expand)

Sidecar: Slightly see-through shimmery micro-silver glitter on a slightly pink base. Can be applied over a shade for a dual color look.

Toasted: A silver-pink-mauve color

Hustle: A bold shade of eggplant metallic

Creep (click on image to expand)

Creep: Silver micro-glitter on a sheer dark grey/black base (will need 3 coats if you want it opaque)

My initial impression of the set was that the bottles were too tiny to warrant the price. However, going to Sephora, I notice that the Sephora by Opi Metro Too Chic Set offered 6 miniature bottles at 0.125 oz each for $24.50. These bottles are 0.16 oz (about 20% more) for $26. So its comparable, and maybe even a better deal, than the miniature Opi bottle sets.

The colors dry fast and that was impressive since it takes me about an hour to dry my nails. However they chip at the edge which is very disappointing. You have to wear a base and top coat to make the colors last longer, otherwise expect chipping by the 2nd/3rd day.

All the colors were beautiful but I expected higher performance. Creep is watery and it looks streaky if not applied very precisely. If you want it opaque, you will need 3 coats, and these bottles are tiny enough to have to use more nail polish.

Should you buy this? I don’t regret my purchase because this set is limited edition (once its gone, its gone forever) and do like the Urban Decay brand, but it really depends on your pocketbook. If you like to splurge on yourself, these colors are great for a night out on the town or on a dinner date. If you want performance, these will chip in a couple of days even if you are being careful. Smog chipped for me the very next day. With that said, I would say “skip it” for us working girls.
